Sensei Deb Cupples, Owner
Community Karate and Fitness was founded in 2006, by Sensei Deb Cupples, mom of 4 happy, successful adult kids and happy wife to an amazing husband who has always supported her dream to open her own dojo back in 2006.
Originally from Massachusetts, Deb has been a Colorado Springs resident for over 20 years.
High-energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude is what sets Sensei Cupples' teaching style apart from the rest.
Sensei is active in the Colorado Springs community in local school districts #11 and #20. Our dojo adopted Homestead Park from 2008-2017, where we picked up trash and kept the park and trails clean.
Community Karate and Fitness is proud to be an Underwriter for 91.5 KRCC , our local NPR station, since 2016.
We have supported InterFaith Hospitality, Silver Key, Care & Share, The Springs Rescue Mission, Inside/Out Youth Services, The American Heart Association and more.

Sensei Cameron Davies joined Community Karate and Fitness in 2009 with no martial arts experience. He has since become an extremely talented martial artist who loves to share his knowlegde with his students.
Cameron actively competes and referees in traditional martial arts tournaments. He has acheieved local, regional and national medals over the last nine years.
In addition to martial arts training, Cameron currently works at a full-time job and is well on his way to completing his college degree and tutors students in Math.
Classes with Sensei are very informative, full of energy and always leave you feeling that you've done your best.
Miss Jordan Gates
Miss Jordan joined Community Karate and Fitness in 2014 and immediately fit right in. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet; our students feel right at home with Miss Jordan.
Miss Jordan enjoys competing in local and regional tournaments and has earned medals in both karate and kobudo (weapons training).
In addition to being our main instructor for our Kids Classes, Miss Jordan loves painting and is an accomplished artist.
Jordan is the kind of young adult that you want your kids to spend time with. She knows how to bring the best out of her students and they love her for it. Her dedication to teaching martial arts is an inspiration to others.
